It has been the sublime cause of the Chinese nation to “reunify and revive the country.” As Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the great forerunner of the democratic revolution in China, has pointed out, “Reunification is what all the Chinese citizens have expected. Unified, all the people can live a happy life; or otherwise, they would suffer.” The cross-Straits reunification is what the people have desired and it means a general trend, a historical tide which cannot be stopped. May all the Chinese people in the world make concerted efforts to oppose the “Taiwan Independence” secession forces and their activities, promote the peaceful development of the cross-Straits relationships, advance the cause of the peaceful reunification of the motherland, and realize the great revival of the Chinese nation.
