On January 14, 2006, Hu Jintao, Secretary-general of the CPC Central Committee and the National President of China, genially interviewed some representatives of the Taiwan business people when he viewed the Xiamen Haicang Zone for Taiwan Business People’s Investment. As Hu says, we welcome more Taiwan compatriots to seek for their causes in the mainland and benefit peole across the Straits through co-operation. The related agencies in the mainland will certainly make their best to provide help and services to the Taiwan compatriots.
