On December 9, 2003, Premier Wen Jiabao and U.S. President Bush interviewed. President Bush expressed that the U. S. A. opposed the activities that attempted to change the status quo by means of unilateral efforts, that the remarks and activities of the leadership in Taiwan indicated that they would possibly make decisions to unilaterally change the present situation, and that the U. S. A. expressed its opposition to it.
