科教卫体

　　余杭按照“引进、培育、引导、推广、服务”的科技工作思路，大力推进技术创新客科技进步，培育和发展了高新技术产业，用信息化带动了传统产业升级，增强了全区的科技实力。全区有省级高新技术产业园区一个，已认定高新技术企业46家。建立各类企业60余家，民营科技企业120余家。建立各类企业技术中心11家。共获区级以上各类技术成果奖137项，申请专利298项，专利授权250项。2002年被国家科技部授予“全国CAD技术推广应用工程示范地区”。余杭在充分享有浙江大学等十多所高等学校教育资源的同时，建立了完备的现代教育体系，教育现代化水平不断提高，不断为余杭社会经济发展输送各类高素质人才和合格的劳动者；广播电视、体育馆、博物馆、图书馆、文化馆、影剧院等设施完备，丰富了人们的业余生活。余杭区体育卫生工作亮点叠出，整体实力不断增强。曾获全国卫生先进市和全国初级卫生保健工作先进单位等荣誉称号。

Science,Education,Health Care And Sports Development

To promote the development of science, education, health care and sports in Yuhang, the local government has worked out favorable policies to introduce talented  professionals and to cultivate competition.systems to develop new and hi--tech industry. With the fast development of IT industry, much new technology has been applied to innovate the traditional manufacture industry, the science and technology strength of Yuhang District has been greatly enhanced.

Established in Yuhang District is one provincial hi--tech industrial zone with 46 new hi--tech enterprises, 60 enterprises of different I lines of industry and over 120 private companies. Also established in Yuhang are 11 .different enterprise technical centers. To date, enterprises and professionals in Yuhang District have received 137 different prizes for technical achievements, applied 298 items of patent, and 250 items of authorized usage patent. In Year 2002, Yuhang District was awarded by China Science &Technology Ministry as" China's Example City & District. of  Promoting and Applying CAD Technology." With Zhejiang University and ten other
universities and lust nut ions located nearby, Yuhang District has established modern education network, which can provide excellent professional s as well as competent workers to ensure the sustainable development of Yuhang's economy. People can enjoy a colorful life with various modern facilities in Yuhang such as radio&television stations, gymnasiums, museums,libraries, cultural centers and theatres. Yuhang has made great achievements in Health Care and Sports, it was awarded China's Hygienic County and Excellent Basic Health Care District.
