区位优势
余杭位于长江三角洲内的杭州、上海、南京和苏州、无锡、常州、宁波等城市群的中心。穿境而过的两条铁路（沪杭、宣杭）、两条国道（320、104国道）、两条高速公路（沪杭两、杭宁高速）、两条主要河流（东营溪、京杭大运河）和六条省级公路，把余杭与杭州、上海、南京和苏州、无锡、常州、宁波等大中城市紧紧相连。余杭离杭州萧山国际机场仅30公里。余杭还有华东地区最久的铁路编组站——乔司编组站。建设中的运河杭州港余杭港区，是全国内河上枢纽港之一，建成后将与上海芦潮港接轨。
Favorable Geographical Location
Yuhang District has very favorable geographical location. The air-land-water transportation network in Yuhang District makes it very convenient to reach the economically developed cities of Yangtze river Delta, such as Hangzhou, Ningbo, Shanghai, Nanjin, Suzhou, Wuxi and Changzhou.Yuhang district is only 30 kilometers from Xiaoshan international Airport. Qiaoshi Railroad Marshall Station, the largest one in Eastern China, is located in Yuhang District. Cross the district are two railroads---Shanghai-Hangzhou Railroad and Hangzhou-Anhui Railroad. Besides railroads, there are many high-grade highways going through the district, Namely No.320 and No.104 State highways, Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo Freeway, Hangzhou-Ningbo Freeway and other six other provincial highways. Two important inland navigable waterways Dongtiaoxi River and Beljing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, and the Yuhang Harbour which is under construction form a convenient water-transportation network of rivers and sea. When completed, Yuhang Harbor will be connected with Ruchao Harbor of Shanghai, which will make it much easier to ship out cargoes by sea.
