GUANGZHOU, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- China ensured a 1-2 finish in the women's doubles of table tennis tournament at Guangzhou Asian Games here on Friday.
Ding Ning/Liu Shiwen swept Japanese pair Ai Fukuhara/Kasumi Ishikawa 11-8, 11-8, 11-5 and 11-7 in the best-of-seven semifinals while their teammates Guo Yue/Li Xiaoxia took another berth in final after beating Hiroko Fujii/Misako Wakamiya of Japan 11-3, 11-1, 11-13, 11-2 and 11-7 later after.
The final of women's doubles will be held on 19:00pm of local time (GMT time 11:00) here in Guangzhou Gymnasium.
