GUANGZHOU, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- China eventually won the the gold and silver medals of men's table tennis doubles after the semifinals here on Friday at Asiad.
Wang Hao/Zhang Jike will play against teammates Ma Lin/Xu Xin in men's doubles' final. Wang Hao and Zhang Jike edged out Jeoung Young-Sik/Kim Min-Seok, South Korean, 11-4, 11-4, 11-13, 7-11, 5-11, 11-3 and 11-6 in the semifinals while Ma Lin/Xu Xin beat Japanese pair Kenta Matsudaira/Koki Niwa 11-6, 8-11, 11-6, 11-6 and 11-5 in another semifinal rubber.
The women's doubles' final will also be played between Chinese paddlers who are Ding Ning/Liu Shiwen versus Guo Yue/Li Xiaoxia.
