Int'l community continues to send condolences over earthquake in China

BEIJING, April 27 (Xinhua) -- More foreign leaders and international organizations have sent messages of condolences to Chinese leaders over a massive earthquake in western China's Qinghai Province.

The messages were sent to Chinese President Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao.

Central African Republic's President Francois Bozize and Prime Minister Faustin Archange Touadera expressed their deep-felt sympathy and sincere condolences to the Chinese government and the Chinese people, saying they stood firmly together with the government and the people of China.

Cook Islands Prime Minister Jim Marurai said he would like to help people in the disaster area recover soon.

Other messages of sympathy have come from Chadian President Idriss Deby, Qatar Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Hamad bin Jasim bin Jabir al-Thani, Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor, Micronesian President Emanuel Mori and Rogelio Pfirter, director-general of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
