A delegation headed by Chinese mainland's chief negotiator on cross-Strait affairs, Chen Yunlin, has arrived in Taipei for a new round of talks with Taiwan. The two sides are expected to sign agreements boosting cooperation in the health care sector.
The mainland's Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits and Taiwan-based Straits Exchange Foundation are scheduled to hold talks there Tuesday.
The two sides will sign a medical and health cooperation agreement, and further discuss investment protection. The talks will be the sixth since the two organizations resumed negotiations in June 2008 after an 11-year suspension.
