Mainland's Disabled Artists End Performing Tour in Taiwan |

China Disabled Persons' Arts Troupe left Taipei for home Monday, following a two-week performing tour in Taiwan, at the invitation of Chang Ya-juo Foundation for Education.
During its tour in this island province, the artists staged a series of dances, operas, songs and musical works, with a general title of "My Dream (IV)". They performed 18 times in Taipei and inseveral other cities and entertained a total of over 60,000 local audience.
Chiang Hsiao-yen, chairman of the foundation, urged Taiwan people to pay great attention to human life and learn from these handicapped artists from the mainland who have achieved a high artistic level through hard efforts. After watching the performance, some local handicapped people told media that the mainland artists showed disability does not mean "disappointment" and the handicapped should never give up.
