| Kitchen waste processing plant for Beijing |

A contract has been signed to build a plant for treating and recycling Beijing's kitchen waste in the Tongzhou district of Beijing.
About US$20 million have been invested in the project by Beijing and Hong Kong companies in the plant which is located in the Tongzhou district of Beijing.
The plant will be operational by the end of 2005, when some 650 tons of waste will be processed every day.
It is not only the first of its kind in Beijing, but also the first one in the world. |
