Two undergraduates of Mechanics Faculty take part in the robot contest in emulating a traditional southern Chinese folklore of grabbing for the oblations by speeling onto the single mast on the Hungry Ghost Festival with the intent to scare away the ghost souls, during the 17th Mechanical System Devise Theme Contest of the "National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST)" at Taipei, southeast China's Taiwan, June 8, 2010. This contest entails the robots to speel onto the mast and climb over the rail to light up the LED lamp in the middle of the rail, with the least time-consumer emerging as the winner.
